365 project

as most of you know 365 project is a big craze right now all over the net ...becky higgins has a great kit for it that sold out super quick but if ya didnt get a kit it doesnt mean you cant do it...i didnt get a kit and i'm sooo doin it ..its great motivation for me..and i plan to stay motivated with it...and i needed a way to make me take more pics cause last year was such a bad year for me taking pics it just didnt happen except for my buz related stuff,.well thats not a way to document my families life..so this year i'm determined to create more..I couldnt find protectors that are divided so i decided to cut my papers to what the slots in beckys kit were and i just matted them on white cardstock so it still looks divided but its not and its still SIMPLE the way i did it...

i think its just the motivation i need to take more pics so i ammm soooooooooo IN! so i have been taking my pics everyday tomorrow will be day 7 so i will have a completed page for u to see then..in the mean time i have completed my coversheet for it..here it is...and i didnt get the kit..and didnt freak out cause i didnt have it like lots of women..i just said she made it with the thought of keeping it easy so i will make my own kit so that it will be easy to keep up with ,SIMPLE...so lets see if i can keep it simple and easy..lol..

did you think of your word for the year?? I had a hard time deciding because a few popped into my mine but my word for the year is CREATE why create you say I dunno the first thing that popped into my head...create a way to save money..create a healthier way of eating..just lots of things to make life better...so how was ur new years?? our was ok bree was sick so we hadda stay home new years eve but that was ok by me i scrapped a couple of pages and also got to be home and not have to drive with all the drunkies on the road...so heres a few pics to share and hopefully tomorrow i will have my week one of 365 project complete for you to see...since i'm jumping out there on my own without a kit..thats ok though i have FAITH IN MYSELF..i can CREATE this project.....

our first snow day ever in Louisiana

yesterday was so exciting for everyone who lived in south louisiana,.kids were home from school people got sent home from work.roads were closed..it snowed hard for 4 1/2 hrs straight...how exciting,...the kids LOVED IT..it was too cold for me to touch we just made a lil snowman,,i didnt have good gloves and my hands wouldnt move good they were so cold..lol..so heres some snow pics from south louisiana

on the 11th day of Christmas!!!

John woke up for work this morning walked out the door this morning and came in hollering ITS SNOWING ITS SNOWING...i was like is it enough to wake up for ..he said its really coming down..so we woke the kids up and went out....last year we had snow for 2 mins maybe but it was exciting for us in louisiana...but TODAY its been snowing 2 hrs now...how amazing just 2 days ago it was 77 and i had the air on now they are saying sunday it will be back in the 70's here....Super weather....thats Louisiana for you though..

bree was in a christmas parade yesterday i missed it cause i had a christmas tea to do but her daddy went with her and shes in another one next weekend that i will be in with her....so heres some pics in her pretty dance outfit...

ok i had john pull out my christmas stuff last nite and i put up the tree today it doesnt have it ornaments yet though,..and me and the kids made 2 gingerbread houses....is it starting to look like christmas around ur house yet?????

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

do u have your christmas spirit yet??? NOT ME for SURE! Usually next weekend is when we would pull our christmas stuff out and start decorating,,,i dont even wanna think about christmas right now..john started his new job today so that is a good thing that might get me in the mood in a few weeks,.lol...it just doesnt feel like christmas yet to me...also this is the time of the year i really start missing my grandma its been almost 3 yrs ( Dec 9) since shes passed away but still...ok sorry i woke up BAH HUMBUG and hadda share..just my thought for the day..lol..
